Bantam Predators Take Markham 3 Straight in Round One of ETA’s

In game one, the Predators scored an overtime 4-3 victory at Rama arena. The margin of victory was provided by Kristoff Kontos (his second goal of the night) from Tyler Marchand and goaltender Knick Dawe. Kontos’ first goal was assisted by Jason Abbott. The first two goals came from Matt Quilty, with Kontos assisting on both of them.

In game two, the Predators won 4-2 over Markham at Markham Village arena. The first goal was scored just 31 seconds into the contest by Matt Quilty, and was unassisted. The second goal was scored at with 4:04 of the same period by Kristoff Kontos from Matt Standen. The final tally of the first, to make it 3-0, was scored at 11:07 by Matt Standen from Brennan Ward and Kristoff Kontos. The final marker came with just 8 seconds left in the third was also scored by Matt Standen from Jason Bailey.

The Predators wanted game three to end the series in Rama. Once again, overtime was required to settle the matter. Kristoff Kotos opened the scoring, with assists going to Jason Bailey and Trevor Smith. The second goal was scored by Matthew Thompson from Tyler Marchand. Kontos scored the deciding marker from Tyler Marchand and Jasion Bailey in the overtime period. Goaltender Knick Dawe of the Predators stopped a penalty shot to help score the one goal win.

The Predators wait for the next series.
